A group called GAVEL, has protested to Lagos State Police Command Headquarters, Ikeja against SARS brutality, extorting and incivility.

The group were addressed by the Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu on the IGPs diretives and efforts of the IGP, and Federal government to sanitise the police institution in Nigeria.

The CP also rolled out his actions on sanitising the police in Lagos, assuring them of his commitment to arrest and prosecute any erring police officer who violates the order of the IGP and in Lagos state.

The group engaged the CP in a tete a tete for a way forward.
