Lagos State Commander of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Barr. Ralph Igwenagu today paid a courtesy visit to the Brigade Commander Brigadier General Musa Etsu Ndagi.
The visit was to synergise and collaborate with the 9 Brigade Nigerian Army in the fight against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking in Lagos State.

The State Commander with his management team were ushered into the conference room of the 9 Brigade where introductions of the both sides were made.
Thereafter The State Commander states his mission for the visit which includes:
(A)- to seek for collaboration in terms of support of manpower for raid operations at some notorious drug joints that NDLEA alone cannot be able to do it easily.
(B)- to synergise in awareness campaign more expecially in schools that are within the barracks.
(C)- more collaborations in exchange of ideas and informations in the tackling of drug abuse and trafficking as the drugs are now identified as the fuel for violent crimes and criminalities in Lagos State in particular and Nigeria in general.
Brigade Commander in his response promise to synergise and collaborate with the NDLEA to the best of his capability, that illicit drugs are everywhere even within the barracks more expecially the schools some people do smoke there.
He said all hands must be on deck to minimised this menance to the bearest minimal.
