Lagos State Police Command has arrested 30 suspected criminals.
The suspects were arrested during operations in different locations of the State.
Police Public Relations Officer, Bala Elkana, said the suspects comprised of robbers and cultists who had been terrorising the state for over a long period of time.

According to Elkana, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, operatives of Operation Crush from the anti cultism unit of the command, arrested a notorious cultist, Rilwan 20, with an automatic pistol concealed in his bag, at Ijora roundabout.
He said Rilwan, allegedly confessed to being a member of Ayie confraternity. Bala said during follow-up operations at Bariga, anther kingpin, Oseni, 23, and 22 others members of his cult groups were arrested.
In a related development, Elkana said, the operatives from Mushin police station led by Inspector Atipi Agasa, while on patrol along with Olorunsogo Bus stop, Mushin, intercepted Mathew 25 -years- old and a female, Yetunde, 28, on a motorcycle.

He said on sighting the police team, the suspects attempted to escape as they abandoned their motorcycle and took to their heels, but the police gave them a hot chase and they were arrested:
“One locally made double barrel pistol loaded with two cartridges was recovered from them.
The suspects confessed that they belonged to a five-man armed robbery syndicate, operating in mushin, ikotun and Igando areas of the state.
