Lagos State Police Command has arrested four suspected cultists allegedly terrorizing Fadeyi, Jibowu and environs.

According to the command, Yusuf Waziri, Mufutau Abogunde, Tega Micheal and Alabi Sulaimon were arrested by policemen attached to Isheri Olofin Division who were on patrol on Wednesday.

It recovered two AK47, two Beretta and other ammunition from the suspects.

Police Public Relations Officer, Bala Elkana, said the suspects, alleged to be Eiye Cultists, were part of a gang known as ‘Ereko boys’ which has been on police watch list.

Elkana, a a Deputy Superintendent of Police, said the suspects had been transferred to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad.

He said investigation was ongoing, adding that efforts were on to apprehend other members of the gang.
