There will be restriction of movement during Saturday’s Federal Constituency rerun elections in Ajeromi /Ifelodun areas of the state.

According to Lagos State Police Command, the movements restriction would be in force between six in the morning and three in the afternoon on Saturday.

Police Public Relations Officer, Bala Elkana, said in view of the rerun elections the Command placed restrictions on vehicular and mass movements of persons from in Ajegunle, Layeni, Amukoko, Ijora Badia, Trinity and Tolu.

Elkana, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, urged the Public to take note, especially those living within the affected areas, saying violators of the restriction order would be arrested and prosecuted.

He said registered voters were assured of their safety during the rerun elections as the Command had deployed adequate number of personnel.
