Lagos State Government has charged youths in the country to shun cyber crime and channel their energy into profitable ventures.

Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Steve Ayorinde, gave this charge at the launch of a book, titled: “It’s your time, make it count,” written by Adeniran Bamisaye.

Ayorinde lamented that many youths waste away their time on unprofitable ventures, saying as the future belonged to the youths and they must make it count through pragmatic approach.

The commissioner, who spoke through Director, Public Affairs, Oladapo Toro, also charged youths to identify their talents and use them for the benefits of the nation.

Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Uzamat Akinbile-Yusuf, commended the author for a job well done.

Akinbile-Yusuf who spoke through a Director in the ministry, Julius Olukosi, appealed to the youths to utilise their time and opportunities.
