Retired Army, Navy and Air force Officers Association of Nigeria has said their members are ready to assist the nation in tackling its insecurity challenges including fighting the war against insurgents in the North East.

National President of RANAO, Lt. Col. Antony Ogbomo ( retd), said this while speaking with journalists after the zonal executive committee meeting of the association in Ede on Wednesday.

Ogbomo said the younger members of the association were ready to be called upon to assist the nation especially in some areas to lessen the burden of those in the active service.

He called on President Muhammadu Buhari, to revive the National Reserve Scheme which has a pool of ex-military men to be called upon to fight at any time their services were required.
